Jeff Ross (00:00) G'day Legends, Jeff Ross here, bouncing in from Tasmania, your caffeinated kangaroo, proud father of three energetic boys. And today, I'm beyond pumped to introduce to you something that I've been passionate in developing in the lab, if you will, which is called the Voice Framework. This powerful new concept is designed to empower you to master your message, to help you to nail your niche and ultimately build a purpose-driven brand and life.

If you've ever felt your message isn't landing or your voice is just lost in the crowd and the noise, stay tuned because today's episode is for you. So why the voice framework and what is it? Well, let's get real. In today's digital marketplace, it's noisier than a family dinner at my house with everyone competing for attention, having clearly defined personal brand and a powerful, authentic message.

isn't just nice in today's world, it's absolutely essential. That's exactly why I've created the voice framework. So what is this voice framework? Well, V stands for values and your values are your compass. These are your core beliefs. They are the guiding values that will help you make every decision in your business. And we're going to unpack each one of these as we go. O is for origin, your personal story.

your authentic story, what it creates a deep lasting connection. What is your origin story? Every superhero has one. I is for influence, how you establish trust and credibility through genuine leadership. And C is for clarity, crafting a clear, concise and compelling message. Not just a clever one, but a clear one. And E is for expression.

delivering your unique style in a memorable way that truly resonates with your audience. Find your tribe, you'll find your vibe, as they say. This is the Voice Framework and I'm ⁓ loving to introduce you to this today because this is something that I've been working on to help people to crack the code in this very noisy online space. So let's quickly unpack each element of the Voice Framework. Values.

Right, these are your non-negotiables. These are the principles that you live by, that you share with your audience. I would also go far as saying, this is how we really discern and grasp our mission and our vision for our purpose-driven lives. So V is for values. And each week we're gonna unpack each of these letters in a deeper context. O is for origin. If you've read books like Joseph Campbell, The Hero's Journey,

If you've watched movies like Star Wars or the Marvel series, you can just see that they all go back to the origin story. What's your favorite Marvel movie? The one that I reflect here on the origin stories is right going back right back to the beginning to the first Iron Man movie. Where did it start? Well, it started in the middle of the story, but then we went back to see where his roots came from. People want you to be authentic. They want you to connect to you.

Your vulnerability, your struggles, your desires will help your audience relate to you and connect to you deeply. I is for influence. This is where real leadership is about. John Maxwell states that leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less. And leadership isn't about you. It's about empowering others to step up and shine. It's about building credibility and influence.

with integrity and integrity equals trust. We have a responsibility and ownership and accountability to influence and empower people to lead through servant-hearted leadership. To not make it about us, but to empower others to greatness. That is where true influence lies. C is for clarity. When you can simplify your message so clearly that it instantly resonates

leaving no doubt for what you offer, that's where you'll break through. I love the Apple mission statement. It's clearly just defines this is everything that they do, right? See, their mission statement is they believe in challenging the status quo. There you go. They don't just make great computers and great phones. They're challenging the status quo. See, people don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it. Famous quote by Simon Sinek.

And if you haven't read that book, it's one of my Bibles. I highly recommend reading it. Start with why. See all of these insights and the knowledge that I'm dropping on you is not original. There are truly believe that there is nothing original since Socrates. Everything since Socrates is IP infringement anyway. So, but we could share through our wisdom. We can share through our experiences and it's our responsibility to communicate it in a clear way.

See, a confused mind never takes any action. An overwhelm just leads to procrastination, stress, and anxiety. So it's this job as leaders who are influencing people to follow a vision, we need to clearly communicate. So C is for clarity. E is for expression. This is where we get to have fun. This is where we get to be ourselves. There are enough carbon copy cutouts, cookie cutter cutouts out there in the world.

The world doesn't need another Oprah Winfrey, another Donald Trump, another Steve Irwin. The world needs you. So own it, be real, stop this whole fake it till you make it BS, and just own you. Bring the world out, so bring you out into the world. It's your time to step up and shine, right? E is for expression. This is where we get to inject our personality into everything you do.

Be memorable, be yourself and never shy away from what makes you unique. So to go on that journey, you need to go on a self-discovery journey to learn how to love yourself. What's in all to understand your personality type, to understand your strengths and your weaknesses. I can't wait till we get into that episode to unpack that further for you. See, I've been on this journey for 16 years. I've been mastering attraction marketing and social selling.

I've immersed myself in countless books and teachings from the great leaders. Books like Dotcom Secrets X from Russell Brunson, Start With Why by Simon Sinek, Story Matters by Donald Miller, The Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell, Good to Great by Jim Collins. These are just some of the top books that have made a profound impact on shaping my thinking. I've also had the honor to be privileged to be mentored.

by people like Frank Kern, Adrian Morrison, Ryan Dice. These people have been leaders in my life that have influenced and helped me to become the marketer, the person, the leader, the father that I am today. And it's my hope that this message helps you to go build on the shoulders of giants and for you to go step up and shine and go run with it and be a lighthouse, be a beacon of hope, be a beacon of light.

hope and joy into the world because in a world that is dark, in a world that is starving for connection, in a world that's starving for love, we need more leaders who are not afraid, who have courage to step up, share their voice, share their wisdom, share their experience with the world. I truly believe in today's world with AI, knowledge is worth zero dollars.

So if that's the case, what are people paying for? They're paying for your experience. They're paying for your wisdom. They're paying for you to lock arms, to lead them. That's what people need in today's world more than ever. Look, there's nothing new under the sun. Since the days of Socrates, as I just said, ideas have been repackaged and reimagined.

But what I'm doing here with the voice framework is bringing it together with my distilled experience, insights and wisdom and expressions and integrating it in a simple, clear way to help you to step up and run with it. And it's my hope that you leverage this voice framework to help you to break through the noisy space in this place and for you to step up and create a personal brand that's authentic to your voice because the your

Your world around you, your circle of influence around you needs your voice. I truly believe if you've got a calling in your heart, if you're an entrepreneur, if you're a misfit, a troublemaker as Steve Jobs calls us, we have a responsibility to share our story with the world. I truly believe it's an injustice if you don't. If you've got a story that has helped you get our sucks bill and take you to awesome town,

and you're not sharing it in a way that your people can hear you, that you can impact and influence them, then that's an injustice because you're robbing them of their hope. So this voice framework is about bringing this all together to help you to have something that will help you to create a practical tool to design specifically to help you to thrive in today's marketplace. Over the coming weeks, we're going to do a deep dive

into each component of the voice framework. So next week, we're gonna be jumping into be the values. The following week will be unpacking origin stories and how to craft your story. Week four will dive into influence and how to step up and be a leader of people who influences others to take action. Week five will unpack clarity and how to get clear messaging working for you. And week six will dive into how to express yourself.

See, using words like boomsauce and awesomesauce and the caffeinated kangaroo. When you hear those terms, you automatically think Jeff Ross. That is my personal brand, right? This is how I express myself. It's ADHD, it's caffeinated energy, it's over-deliver, it's high vibe. This is me, this is not me faking it. This is me operating out of my heart space in a pure passion space. And this is how we need to express ourselves.

See, Steve Irwin was the same, right? But I don't need to imitate Steve Irwin. I don't need to use his sayings. I crikey. I can come up with my own. AI can help us to do this. And I'm going to teach you how I used AI to come up with expressions like, I'm as excited as a caffeinated kangaroo bouncing around on a trampoline. See, that's unique. It's eclectic. It's how I express my brand. If your brand is serious, be serious. If your brand is kind and compassionate and mercy, be that.

Don't fake it till you make it. Bring out the true you through your voice. I want to encourage each of you lessons to actively participate, share your own stories, and let's go grow together. So legends, take some time to reflect today. What is your voice right now? How can the voice framework help you to refine your brand and your message? Your tribe is waiting here to support you, to lock arms, to run with you. And life is too short, right? One of my core values. My top three core values are this. Transparency, right? Or integrity, trust. The other one is ultimate ownership. And the third value is love and fun. Life's too short to skip the laughs, especially the dad jokes.

And it wouldn't be a Laptop Lifestyle Dad Show episode without our signature clothes and our dad joke. So here's one for you to sign off. Why did the scarecrow win an award?
